From today it is possible to group with the opposite faction. However, this will only be temporarely because of the lack off players. You can only chat and group together. It is not possible to join the same guild or add someone from the opposite faction as a friend.

I hope most of you will be able to play together in harmony, eventhough they once were your enemy.

This morning I implemented the Auctionhouse Bot. I have tested and optimized it for several weeks now and today it's finally running on the live server. Currently there are over 2000 items on the Auctionhouse available. The wide variety among the different items ensures that everyone can find something that suits his or hers belongings. The bot also places bids on auctions created by player, so you will always sell something on the Auction House now as long as the price is reasonable. I hope you will enjoy it!

I’m just back from two nice weeks on holiday and I updated the core. You will need to update your client to 3.3.5a (12340) in order to login. You can access our download mirror here, where you can download the needed files directly from our server (enUS ONLY).
Don’t forget to change your realmlist.wtf file after updating.

Tomorrow (sunday) morning, the server will be offline for some quick maintenance. I can't give you exact times but it won't take long because the new server can do things much quicker. I hope you won't cause to much inconvenience.
We try to improve the stability in the couple next weeks and this is the first "overhaul" as you might call it. Oh, and for those who have missed it, a new account management panel is available. You can login using your in-game account and acces features like character unstuck and account transfer.

Things can go faster than you expect. The server is already running and we prepare putting all the data from the current server, to the new one which can lead to some downtime.
Stefan is still working on the configurations but I already had a moment to play with this brand new server. I this time I had the chance to compile the game server. While the old server did his compiling job in two hours, this one does it in less than 10 minutes. Here are some of the specs:

OS: Debian 5.0 (stable) (64bit)
Processor: Intel^© Core i7 920
Memory: 8GB DDR3

I expect you can play on the new server in a couple of hours so we can copy the maps and database. The new server is in a new database center so you will have to change your realmlist.wtf to:
